According to the latest information, the recruitment drive for 1,773 posts within the Thane Municipal Corporation—which had been stalled for a full six months due to various reasons—will finally take place during the months of April and May. A staggering 75,000 unemployed individuals have applied for these 1,773 positions. For the first time this year, the search for district-wise examination centers has already commenced. An advertisement for the 1,773 posts falling under ‘Group C’ and ‘Group D’ categories within the Thane Municipal Corporation was originally issued in August 2025. The majority of these vacancies are within the Health and Fire Departments, though the recruitment drive also encompasses various other positions. Following the publication of this advertisement, the recruitment process had come to a halt due to the commencement of the general elections for the Thane Municipal Corporation. Furthermore, there was speculation that certain individuals had even approached the courts to challenge this recruitment process. Finally, after a hiatus of six months, the recruitment process is set to resume; indications suggest that the proceedings will get underway once again starting next month. मित्रांनो, एक मोठा अपडेट समोर आला आहे, मुंबईकरांसाठी नोकरीची एक मोठी संधी लवकरच उपलब्ध होणार आहे. आताच प्राप्त माहीती नुसार, काही कारणांमुळे तब्बल सहा महिन्यांपासून रखडलेल्या ठाणे पालिकेतील १७७३ पदांची भरती अखेर एप्रिल मे महिन्यात होणार आहे. या १७७३ पदांसाठी ७५ हजार बेरोजगारांनी अर्ज केले आहेत. यंदा प्रथमच परीक्षेसाठी जिल्हा निहाय केंद्रांचा शोध सुरू करण्यात आला आहे. ठाणे पालिकेतील ‘क’ आणि ‘ड’ संवर्गातील १७७३ पदांसाठी ऑगस्ट २०२५ रोजी जाहिरात काढण्यात आली होती. यामध्ये सर्वाधिक पदे ही आरोग्य विभाग आणि अग्निशमन विभागासाठी असून यामध्ये इतर पदांचा देखील समावेश आहे. ही जाहिरात प्रसिद्ध झाल्यानंतर ठाणे महापालिकेची सार्वत्रिक निवडणूक लागल्याने या भरती प्रक्रियेला ब्रेक लागला होता. याशिवाय या भरती प्रक्रियेच्या विरोधात काही जणांनी न्यायालयात देखील धाव घेतल्याची चर्चा होती. अखेर सहा महिन्यांच्या नंतर या भरती प्रक्रियेला पुन्हा एकदा सुरुवात होणार असून पुढच्या महिन्यांपासून ही प्रक्रिया पुन्हा सुरुवात होण्याची चिन्हे आहेत. यामुळे नोकरीच्या नवीन हजारो संधी उपलब्ध होणार आहेत. 

या भरती प्रक्रियेसाठी जिल्हा निहाय केंद्र असणार आहेत. त्या त्या जिल्ह्यातील अर्जदारांची परीक्षा ही त्याच जिल्ह्यात होणार असून यासाठी ३ भरतीच्या प्रतीक्षेत असणाऱ्या केंद्राचा शोध घेण्याच्या कामाला देखील सुरुवात करण्यात आली आहे. ज्या ज्या जिल्ह्यात परीक्षा केंद्र असणार आहे त्या ठिकाणी पालिकेच’ एक निरीक्षक असणार आहे, अशी माहिती पालिकेच्या सूत्रांनी दिली आहे. अर्जदारांनी चांगला प्रतिसाद दिला आहे. त्यामुळे गेले सहा महिने अर्जदारांना मोठा दिलासा मिळेल.
